..got to keep my job :| .Not sure if I'm happy or sad about the fact - I had to apply in Jul and I've sort of got used to the fact that I was out with a large cash lump sum! It was a bit of a surprise when I was told I was staying. Still, at least it means I've still got cash to spend on games and kit - any sight of a gbb Sten yet?

Same here mate,I had decided to use the lump sum to finally get my dive technicians business that I have been equipping over the last 2 years up and trading ,so in my interview I told them a few home truths and refused to play their games -refused to take part in the selection process ,and told them their problem was bad management and that the employees were the only reason the operation worked at all,and bugger me if they don't go and keep me on !

Just spent the day trying to get my head round brushless motors, ESC's and receivers. And failing. If anyone knows shitloads about RC planes/cars/boats, or, well, anything to do with the above, please PM me!

And now i'm going for a beer........

Spent the day on a house viewing, followed by reading the survey and speaking to the estate agents, and then spending several hours working out just how much we can spend on a 5 bedroom victorian semi with a 5 car garage...

should be today I had a grudge match with a pampas, I hate the ruddy thing, it was as anyone thats been to our house knows taking over, and having been reading the day of the triffids decided I needed to exert some vengance on a plant (ok so its not quite a triffid but I've been sure its been chortling to itself at its ability to take over the driveway). Anyways pampas 0 us 1, however the battle is not over its just begun

sorted out my 35th infantry kit. Now that I have a pair of HBTs I can actually wear, i'm finally pleased with it. Decided against rank badges, so is handier to swap webbing when necessary. Oh and downloaded kellys hero's, burning bridges as a ringtone :happydance:

Today I reenacted a scene from Marathon Man, with a 1hr 20min dental session from hell. Then at the end when I was trying to pay, the imbeciles from my bank had blocked my card, and told me that my payment to RAU had been rejected because they couldn't contact me on my moblie. Yes, that's right.... because I was IN THE DENTIST!!! :whip:
